Microneedling
Microneedling helps combat the appearance of scars, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, stretch marks and cellulite. It is suitable for both men and women, and can be used on all skin types – even on sensitive areas such as around the eyes, the neck and the backs of the hands.
We use a new state-of-the-art microneedling device called InnoPen, containing lots of tiny needles that are carefully moved across the skin to create superficial puncture wounds. This triggers new production of collagen and elastin, resulting in softening of facial lines, as well as a complexion that looks firmer, brighter and far more hydrated.
The treatment is completed with topical application of nutrient rich serums which are absorbed more effectively into the skin through the tiny puncture holes. For long term results we would recommend a short course of treatments, followed by maintenance several times a year
Boost the Benefits
We recommend combining this treatment with PRP Therapy, whereby plasma from your own blood is injected at the same time. The platelets within the plasma release their growth factors which stimulate repair and boost the collagen production. This simple added procedure enhances the results by up to ten times.
How does it work?
Microneedling is a skin treatment which causes the skin to produce new collagen for better skin renewal. The Innopen is a more up to date and effective device for microneedling than a Dermaroller, which is what would have been used previously for this treatment.
What results can I expect?
Innopen will decrease fine lines and wrinkles, improve overall skin texture/tone; plump and lift areas of sagging; brighten the face, facilitate better absorption of products into the skin, and can even be used to encourage the growth of hair in areas of hair loss.
How long do the results last?
You should see some immediate visible improvement in the treated area, with the skin continuing to improve more over the next 6 weeks as new collagen fibres develop.
Are there any side effects?
You are likely to see moderate redness and inflammation straight after the treatment, which should disappear within a few days.
How long is recovery?
For the first few days, skin can feel quite tight and dry. We would advised you to stay away from harsh products and direct sun exposure during this stage, while the skin is still delicate. Your normal skincare routine can be resumed shortly after this.
